Hi Doug, I used the jointer today for one pass, and turned it off using the stop button. I tried to turn it on again for another board, but it would not turn on. I assume operator error.

Try giving the red knob on the switchbox a quarter turn. There’s a safety feature where after turning the jointed off you’ve got to turn the knob before you can start it again. Anyone know if it’s actually broken?
