Interest in possible welding class

Is there interest in a MIG welding class on the weekend of 12 October?

This would not be the typical hour-long “pull the trigger, now you’re trained” class. We would spend time in the classroom beforehand going over the fundamentals as well as “breaking things” so you can recognize when something isn’t right.

This class will likely be limited in size so that everyone gets a better experience. It will also probably be $40 for members, which is more than most of our classes, but I think it will be a more valuable lesson.

I would also like input on class length. The class will be long enough to cover everything I think needs to be covered, but I might break it into 2 days, maybe a couple hours each day, vs a fairly long single day class. Thoughts?

I had a couple people in my safety class interested in at least a MIG welding class.

I’d be game for sitting in on a class like this.

I would definitely be interested. I’d prefer single day long format, but am fine with breaking across 2 days as well.

Ok, I’m going to put it on the calendar. It will be in the evening on 12 October.

ETA: I’ve submitted the form to get this on the calendar for 12 October at 19:00. Watch for it there.

Go to the calendar:

and pick the class on the 12th.
Then you should have a link for enrollment.

I’ve gone to the calendar and I hit the register link. It takes me to a page that says sign up/payment. There’s 2 login space or use my Facebook login. Everytime I put in my email and password. It tells me it’s wrong!? I want to sign up for the class. Please help!

Seems like there are certain places you have to use your wild apricot email, but I don’t remember if that’s what is happening here

About two hours after the above posts, I registered and paid by CC, with some assistance/snooping from PayPal. Anyway, it seemed to work normally; there were four open slots, now there are three. I’ll see everybody there. Thanks!
