Installing games on laptops

I own some PC games from my childhood that don’t need discs or codes after installation and could probably run on our laptops–some of them are over 25 years old. If possible, I’d like to set up a meeting with someone in charge of computers who can use admin permission to install these games on the hallway laptops in order to expand our entertainment options.

edit: These games are long out of print and considered abandonware. They can only be obtained by purchasing secondhand copies now. The original publishers can no longer profit off them. For this reason, I feel it’s okay to reproduce them on our machines.

That would need to be approved by the IT committee and while I’m the IT lead, I’m not saying yes or no at the moment. Would you be willing to come to the next IT meeting to discuss your proposal. It is on the calendar on the 4th Sunday of the month.

Yes absolutely. I’ll put it on my calendar.
