I have an idea for a HUGE public interactive/reaction Art Piece. I have been toying with this idea for several years and I’m wanting to do this in the worst way. It’s taking on a mental/physical need to do this art piece. I would love love love to do this piece and include other members. I want makeict to get the funding and credit for the Art Project but I want the recognition as the Artist and Concept. How do I go about doing this with the board and applying for an art grant or local public grant. I strongly believe this project would generate a ton of attention for us, a boost in memberships along with donations of money and materials like we’ve never had before. Do I need to set something up with the board and fundraising?

Michelle I would start by attending the next Breakfast with the Board Dec 10 at the space so we can discuss casually, then you can firm up a proposal.
