I was really surprised after the hard freeze Tuesday night to discover that almost everything at my house survived. The lantana, marigolds, mandevilla and cannas didn’t miss a beat. Even a cherry tomato survived. I’ve also got butterflies, wasps and assassin bugs out today. I’m wondering if the northwest side of town got as cold as elsewhere.
Did anyone else have annuals make it through the freeze?
I’m late to the game here but the tomatoes, peppers, okra, everything in my veggie garden died from the freeze. I went out earlier in the day and harvested things I wanted to keep.
