Also posting so folks don’t throw out the fabric scraps I’ll leave in the textiles room which we’ll be working on through the week.
There are 12” squares of felt in various colors to lay out a crazy quilt type design on with very small fabric scraps. I’m leaving my collection on the big table for use (I’ll take back home when we’re done). Then overlay a similarly sized piece of tulle, pin, and sew lines in whatever pattern or grid you like so it’s quilted at least every 1/2”.
I’ll cut them into smaller rectangles or squares Sat AM. Attendees can select a piece, draw a design and cut it out for a crazy quilt ornament or other decor.
Completed squares are also on the table to give you an idea. Most scraps need cut into smaller pieces. You can spend a few minutes laying out the scraps or quilt some or both if anyone has time to contribute.
