Grow room

There has been discussion about a community garden at MakeICT. As the board discusses plans for reopening. (Stay tuned) the space itself needs A LOTA WORK right now. The more that help the faster the space comes together. Once it comes together we can build one of these. IKEA released the plans for a grow room opensource on line and it is right up our alley. I think we could even have one inside with an automated watering system and grow lights to give the place that deep space ship feel. But big projects like this come after we make the makerspace.

Make a plan to make a makerspace.

I want one devoted to making tacos.

My mind went straight to a basement grow room :slight_smile: … that looks way safer and might be cool to have in one of the common areas.

I had posted this on our FB as well and had people excited about it. I could see several of these outside. Make it so.

Not till the makerspace is operational!

When things are operational this would be great to make in a variety of sizes, I could see a smaller version with herbs growing in it for home use.
