Sorry for the late note. The Grizzly bandsaw needs some new bearings and a new blade. The bearings are the easy part. Just waiting on the blades.
In the meantime, it’s worth reminding everyone that dust collection is necessary when using the bandsaw. Otherwise, the bearings get PACKED with sawdust and seize up, which in turn will shorten the life of the blades.
Dust collection?
Like a vacuum. I think I’m going to reinstall that dust collection pipe.
I came in to replace the bearings tonight, but i couldn’t get some of the old ones off. They’re seized up too tight. I’ll have to try again on Saturday. Thanks for being patient yall
Which bearings need removed?
I got those pesky dudes off and replaced. The bandsaw should work great, now.
But i don’t currently have access to a lockout key.
So… if ya got a key for this thing… it should work wonders for ya.
Unlocked and ready for use now!
