Garden Kickoff Meeting - This Sunday, 10am!

Hi y’all,

Just a reminder that the kickoff meeting for the garden is THIS Sunday, February 1st, at 10am in classroom 3! If you are interested in joining the garden committee, want to help with the community garden (where we grow food to donate to Wichitans in need), or are even just curious about what we do and what kind of projects we have planned, this is the meeting to be at!

If you’re interested in joining, but 10am on Sundays isn’t a great time for you, please reach out and let us know! We’re happy to be flexible to accommodate more members.

*The flyer has the wrong date because we postponed due to weather. We are meeting on February 1st!

Question on the meeting: do you discuss gardening in general like going over any questions or talking through for our personal gardens and plants or is this specifically planning for the community garden?

So far it’s been us planning our community beds and various projects. Although we are always happy to answer questions about gardening in general, whether your plot is at the makerspace or at your house.
