Garden Gator

Years ago, someone gave me a garden alligator, made from some mix of plaster and fiber, and it was in pretty rough shape. Faded out, with a big hole in his back and a broken-off leg. This week I decided he could use some TLC, so I patched him up and have begun to repaint him. Hopefully he will be able to guard my garden for years to come, once he’s done. In the meantime, here are some before (well, sort of) and after photos. Still lots of detail to paint, including some airbrush shading and nice white teeth.

If I were to happen upon this critter in the street, I would possibly pee my pants… it looks that real.

Here’s mine! Didn’t make it!
