Sheldon dropped off a few computer bits and peices. I know the maker space could probably use a few of them.
Is a couple of APCs, A server, Few network switches (One of which is POE), A camera alarm system, and a unknown piece of equipment
Does someone who knows what the makerspace needs wants to come and claim anything? @David
Iād like the UPS if the makerspace itself does not need it. I am certain it would need new batteries. I inspected the rest of the items and they are probably good only for hackables. The PoE device is actually a midspan power injector, not an actual switch, and the rest of the network gear is 10 base. There is one 10/100 8port switch but it is missing a fairly specific power supply. The DVR is an off-brand 4 channel analog unit.
Area leads really should be contacted first before donations are made.
