The weather this year has been good enough that we have pears on the pear trees this year. They are not sweet pears but tart for pies and other. They seem to be a bit smaller than normal this year, but there is a bunch of them on the trees. I am not sure when they will be ripe or anything really. BUT if you would like some tart pears they are free for anyone who wishes to come get them. I am 20-30min NE of Wichita around 101st North and Greenwich.
