Does anyone want any of these wood saws? They are rusty but the handles are in surprisingly good shape. Probably not worth restoring but could be used for art. They’re on a short timer to the scrap pile.
Can the laser etch these blades, for signs or similar item.?
The lasers we have won’t touch them. You can apply a coating that the laser can etch though
You could probably remove the rust using the laser, but it most likely won’t make any significant mark on the bare metal.
I’ll take them!
I like restoring old tools, rust makes metal itchy. I’ll take the handles off and use electrolysis on them to de rust them clean up the handles and sharpen them they’ll be better than new.

FYI Maker Market, March 25, 11- 3.
You have a couple months if you want to turn those saws into a little pocket cash.
Awesome. I hate to waste stuff but I’m also a minimalist. Quite the conundrum.
Would you like me to leave them at make ICT somewhere or do you want to pick them up from me? I live in Park City. Either works for me.
PM me your address and I’ll drop by about 430 on my way home
