The Haysville Library had these and I brought them home for a project but it was more than we needed. 2" thick. Let me know if you need any.

They are to big to fit in my car we had to drive the 2 blocks with the hatch open. I was hoping whoever wanted them would pick them up
A good source for expanded styrene is dumpsters behind furniture stores. Quite large pieces at a variety of thicknesses. Ask permission first, they have legitimate concerns about people leaving stuff on the ground and leaving the lids open. And do be careful not to let foam blow away. It makes the store look careless to the neighbors.
