Nina at Tissue Studio and I have been discussing some ways we can have multiple events to raise awareness.
Sunday, April 21st- 1-4 at MakeICT mending, zipper repair, and stains don’t bug me screen printing. Teaching hand mending, replacing zippers, and screening printing small bugs over stains.
Thursday, April 25th 7-830 at MakeICT Documentary on Fast Fashion and round table discussion.
Saturday, April 27th at Tissu workshop and local upcycled clothing vendors.
I will need a few volunteers to help with the event at MakeICT on the 21st handsewing, zipper, and screen printing knowledge a plus.
