Example Log Jig

I made a Example Log Jig to show how to secure a log when cutting a Log in the woodshop. Please don’t cut the this Jig or Log. It’s a liftable Example for woodshop safety.

Now it’s important to secure a log when cutting one so it doesn’t roll on you when you cut it in half in anyway. The important part is you don’t cut into the screws, so plan where to put the screws so they aren’t in your cut.

Here is the Jig:

The original signage is still there.

The Jig might need a home along the south wall in the woodshop 1.

Well, the example jig is no more. Someone wanted it more for their log needs.

This is why we can’t have nice things

I was curious how one would secure the log to the jig as i built one myself a while back but never used it because i.was unsure how to do that one part.
