This will be the test for the course.
All levels of Amateur Radio License tests will be available: Technician, General, and Amateur Extra.
If you are already licensed and that shows up in the ULS database, you need bring nothing but 2 forms of ID, one of which MUST be government issued.
If you have tested but are not yet reflected in the ULS database, bring your CSCE (you would have received that when you passed previous tests).

Our tours are free and open to the public. While you are welcome to just show up, we prefer that you register in advance so we have enough members on hand to assist with our tours.
You are welcome to hang out and chat after your tour. There’s always something interesting going on at Maker Monday!

One-Color Screen Printing

This class will focus on the basics of screen-printing; from choosing a design, exposing a screen, washing out the stencil, and applying the ink to paper. Participants will get the opportunity to practice good screen printing technique by helping to produce a run of 50 wall-worthy prints.
We'll also answer any curiosities you might have regarding multi-color printing, printing on cloth, and obtaining and using other people's artwork.

This class is for those interested in using the CNC ShopBot in the woodshop. During the class, students will design a wooden ring on Easel.com and carve out said ring on the ShopBot. Carving on the ShopBot is quick and accurate, so each person will have the chance to operate the ShopBot themselves and take home a small token of their hard work.

This is the next step for those who took the very successful "Technician" course in May.
The prices quoted are for the entire course.

There will be 8 sessions to the class, each one is unique and to get the most out of the course students should attend all 8:
Session 1: 9/7 6-9 PM (3 Hours)
Session 2: 9/9 9AM-1PM (4 Hours)
Sessions 3-7: 9/11-9/15 6-9PM (15 hours)
Session 8: 9/16 9AM-Noon (3 Hours)

Woodshop Authorization

Learn the basics to safely operate the major woodshop tools in this safety class including understanding the limitations of each tool, the forces created when using the tool and how to maintain safe control for improved performance. Tools covered: SawStop table saw, drill press, band saw, router table, jointer, planer, miter saw, oscillating spindle and belt / disk sanders and scroll saw. Expect at least two hours of walkthrough with our tools and equipment, followed by an OPTIONAL hour of hands on practice with the tools aimed at those who have little or no practice with woodworking tools
Prerequisites: Please read the woodshop tool access policy and safety requirements on the wiki page prior to coming to class. Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): • Mandatory: Closed-toed shoes, eye protection, short sleeves • Advisable: Hearing protection
Upon completion of the safety demonstration you can use this woodshop equipment for your projects whenever you work at MakeICT as a member!
