Exploration of the Morton Glassworks System for cutting glass. Morton developed a method of glass cutting which allows precision, repeatable cuts for straight line edges. Geometric designs with multiple parts become a breeze with this grid based layout system. Straight narrow glass pieces, diamonds, squares, triangles, hexagons, octagons, and more are a snap! (pun intended) Whatever your angle is, we can do it with the Morton.

This class will be demonstrations and hands-on usage of the system. Definite skill to add to your glass craft portfolio.

Tools available in the glass work area will include basic glass shaping hand tools, grinders, and soldering irons.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Stained Glass, or Instructor approval.

Restrictions:
Due to the nature of the medium and processes being used, no one under the age of sixteen years of age will be allowed in the glass work area without PRIOR approval of the instructor.
