Learn to use exotic materials safely in our shared space. Participants will learn how to clean re-claimed wood, test for lead paint, and adequately clean up after the use of exotic woods. Once authorized, participants will be allowed to use exotic woods in the woodshop at any time. Expect to get dirty. Participants are encouraged to bring respirators if they have one, though dust masks will be provided.
*This CAN be taken before being authorized for the woodshop, though the use of the tools in the space would still require Woodshop Authorization…
