Learn how to turn your own bowl from Wood. Part 1.
This project will involve two 2.5 hour sessions. Project wood is supplied for the class. Woodshop Authorization is required for this class. We will work with the band saw. Part 1 will cover basics, then marking out centers and diameter. Cutting initial square to rounded. Mounting and turning the outside. Some bowl design considerations will be covered. Part 2 will cover turning the inside and finish choice and application; oil, wax, or a harder finish.
