The lathe safety class will go over the safety requirements and basic operation of both the Logan and Craftsman Lathes at MakeICT. Previous machining experience is not required, but is helpful.
Metalshop Safety Class is a prerequisite to take this course.
At the end of the class, participants will make a widget on one of the lathes to demonstrate that they can use the machines safely.
