Couple issues I’m seeing - possibly related… @IT

  1. Sync events just gives an Internal Server Error, on any event. They still go to the calendar and wildapricot, there’s just a ton of unsynced events and we can’t sync anymore, I can’t figure out what’s messing it up

  2. Lots of duplicate electronics meetups

I also had the sync issue creating the 3D printing classes last night.

Yep. I noticed we were having a problem a couple of days ago and have tried all my usual tricks… sigh

I was supposed to manually remove all mystery-multiple-occurrences of Electronics Meetup and try again, hoping for only one entry per month on the redo. Then wash, rinse, repeat. I have not gotten around to doing it yet. I will try to make it happen this weekend. Thanks for your patience.

Sync all results in Internal Server Error page. Attempted to sync my event alone and it also yields the same error page.

There are several events that appear to not be sync’d through the end of October.

I noticed if you sync all events, nothing good happens. If you sync an individual event you just created, you still get the error but it does create the event on the calendar and wild apriocot.

I just posted the next two laser cutter classes, vinyl cutter, inkscape basics snowflake edition.

Is still showed the little sync icon next to the individual events as if they weren’t really synced. Are WA and the calendar the only two things that need it?

Remove meetup from the things that need syncing. (Tip: its usually meetup. I alerted the IT guys)

LaDeana: By “remove meetup” do you mean simply the text string “meetup”? Any use of “meetup”, not just Electronics Meetup? Wow.
Should I call it “Eetup-May” instead?

No. The text string should be fine. There is an option for the Meetup group that can be checked when you do Calendar, the forum(Discourse) and Wild Aprict. Pick that option and uncheck Meetup.

I had a student show up last Saturday who swore he registered for the Tech class but we found nothing for him. We (Joe Pajor) registered him “on the spot”, but a search of all the classes Saturday (and for the next couple of weeks) never found him.

Hmmm… I would need more info. Did he come in through our calendar or through Meetup. (Meetup can be confusing to people sometimes)
