Ender 3 hotend fix ptfe washer

Looking for assistance with printing a washer from ptfe to fix the nozzle clogging issue I’m having with my Ender 3. The design is posted under thing #3203831 on thingaverse. Please let me know if you can help me out!

Or, if you’ve had this problem as well, any tips you have would be greatly appreciated!

edit: moved from General to FabLab… oops

I don’t know of any consumer 3D printers that would print PTFE. Apparently 3M offers a service, though: https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/design-and-specialty-materials-us/3d-printing/

But maybe you meant a different material?

On the CR10s at the makerspace we just replaced the whole hotend with an e3d v6 because the stock Creality one caused too many headaches.

Hi Christian! :grimacing: After rereading the instructions I realize now that it’s referred to as the “ptfe washer”, but it’s made from any thermoplastic, so if I can get my printer work long enough to print it from PLA then I can use it to implement the fix. Thanks for helping me realize my mistake!
