Hello! My name is Frances and I frequent the ceramics room, but am curious about getting some help with a project.
My grandmother passed in March of this year after battling with Parkinson’s. One of the hardest things for her was losing her handwriting, which was always gorgeous. I luckily have some old birthday cards from her, and was able to bring home some of her old sweaters. I’m wanting to make some gifts for my family, and I’m thinking about finding a way to embroider her handwriting on pieces of her clothes to then turn into ornaments. I just don’t have any experience with embroidery, I know there are machines in the textiles room but I don’t know if/how you can upload your own images to it.
I’d appreciate if anyone has any advice or guidance! Thank you
