Once again, not so much making, as made. And actually, I made these awhile back for my own chucks, but after using them for pressing the woodshop drill press chuck apart and back together, I thought I should label them. So I did. Badly. But in my defense, they are round.

It would be cool to be able laser etch things like this

I have watched a member named Domy etch cylindrical glass mugs. The taper end end may be a focus challenge. Can the etch just be on the turned portion?
I am not ready to try this on the laser cutter, but would come watch.

Our laser cutters won’t do anything to these. I could apply a coating and etch that but it’s not worth it for this application unless for the experience.

I get it.
I do anodizing and alodine too. Conversion coatings that can easily be laser etched. I agree, this is not the part unless just for practice.
