I stopped my just to check on something tonight. Walked the building before locking up and found the right (facing outward) door on the west end not closed. Why is it so hard to secure the building?

These doors are good at not latching by themselves; we need to push on them after leaving through them or pull them close after entering.

And the south doors have the same problem.

My new idea for making sure the building is secure…
Instead of just placing sensors on each door and window, let’s put linear actuators on them all. Before you can arm the alarm, a big buzzer sounds, red lights flash, and they all are forced closed and locked!
I tried finding a clip of an action movie where the hero is in a building and the alarms start sounding with vault doors closing at each entrance and the hero just manages to slide under the last one before being trapped inside forever, but I can’t find one.
