Hi all,
Does the textile area have any plastic snap pliers? If so how about any plastic snaps? I can buy a bag of snaps no prob but I only need four for my project. Also, I’m not 100% sure these will work for my project so I’d like to get some snaps in my hands before I buy anything. I wanting to replace the snaps that attach a thin plastic bicycle fender to its mount.
I need size 22 which is also known as T8 and should be 14mm in diameter.
I personally have some but the space does not. Don’t know how well mine works, bought them on wish and haven’t used yet. How soon do you need to borrow them? I have snaps as well.

No hurry at all, I’m on break from school now and just trying to sort the logistics of some projects I’ve had in mind. Before I move onto the rest of the project I’d like to make sure the snaps will install on the plastic fender I have so I should probably concentrate on that first. The fender already has some type of plastic snap but I’m not sure what kind they are. I was completely unfamiliar with plastic snaps until I googled today and saw the fabric applications.

My studio is a mess. I know I saw it moving things around a few weeks ago but what pile that still needs to be organized is a mystery. Let me know before you need it and I will make sure it’s available.

Thank you. I did some more internetting and ordered a mess of snaps from eBay for $6. They’re coming from China so it’ll be a bit. I’ll like revisit this closer to the Christmas Break and hit you up then. That hopefully gives you some time to stumble across them.

Oh, I’ve been cleaning my studio off and on since May trying to get it to a point that I find it more useful. I think my biggest problem is it’s the garage and when it was built out no windows. Since we’re renting I can’t rectify that.
If you can’t find them, remind me and I will see if I have the right size.

Thanks for the update. I have made some progress. I did receive my T8/14mm snaps from China. Unfortunately, the ones I’m trying to match are slightly larger and I haven’t been able to find a source for he ones I’d like. In the meantime, I’ve got a few dozen more black T8 snaps than I’ll ever likely need. Can I leave those in the textiles area as a donation?
Class started for me again last week so I don’t anticipate getting much else done in the near future but I do appreciate you keeping me updated on the status of the tool. One less thing to worry about when I pick this up again.

the largest that fit my tool are T8. I have some snaps as well, but haven’t come across them that I recall. A donation would be perfectly fine.
