Went in today to cut a few things and saw that Luigi was out of order. Needed to load a 4 foot wide sheet so I went ahead and fixed him up a bit. All 3 mirrors were significantly out of alignment, to the point where the beam wasn’t even hitting the third mirror in some bed locations. The focal tube was wobbling quite significantly, so I ran some hot glue around the top to keep it in place. Not perfect but definitely better.
The cutting head assembly really should be replaced. Not sure if this is exact one is compatible (would need to check dimensions) but they are pretty cheap: Cloudray E Series Black CO2 Laser Head – Cloudray Laser . Unless you want to get all fancy with real-time auto-focus: Real-time Auto-focus Laser Head (RTAF) - LightObject | Professional Laser Cutters and Engravers Solutions
The bed also needs to be leveled, but I couldn’t find the triangle key and wasn’t able to get the front hatch of the machine to open.
