The hook and loop pad needs to be replaced. The hooks seem to be worn out. The pad is missing on the harbor freight one too.

I did notice that. I got the parts for pretty cheap and hope to make the repair as soon as the parts arrive.

I’ve got it taken apart. It needs new all- thread and a special nut. I’m checking Ace tomorrow to see if they have something that will work.
