Visual Arts has had what is essentially the makings of a darkroom donated for a while. We had some members with the knowledge to help direct setup and teach this skill, but they have since left the organization.
Is there anyone with the skill and time to help with this? At the point we’re at now we need to decide if we’re going to make use of it or auction it off for funds.
We did have someone in the neighborhood interested in it during the Maker Market. I was supposed to call her when I was getting it set up. I would still like to - when it’s too hot to work outside this summer.
I would love to have access to a darkroom setup, although I am admittedly rusty in remembering how everything works exactly. I would be happy to put my head together with someone else knowledgeable or interested in working on it with me! I think I could also refresh myself using youtube tutorials and pick through the lot bit by bit to make a spreadsheet of exactly what we have available.
