If you have items glazed for cone 6 firing please get them in today. I plan to load and fire cone 6 late tonight or tomorrow morning.
The bottoms of your work need to be free of glaze with 1/4 glaze free rim at base to allow for the glaze expansion in the kiln. Any work on the shelf with glaze still on the bottom won’t be fired.
If you layer, please be careful to not layer glazes that may run off your piece. If there is any risk of run- off please provide your own kiln cookie under it or at least let us know with a note what you layered so we can decide if we can safely fire it.
