Communications: Social Media

Hey all, I’m Tricia, and I’m on our Communications committee. Part of my job is to run the social media accounts for MakeICT. I already have a few people who send messages here on the forum or email Communications@makeict.org but I wanted to throw some info out there in case you don’t know!

If you are teaching a class, feel free to send us a flyer, or make a post on socials while “collaborating” or tagging our pages, so we can share them to all the places. More eyes on your posts means more students and more moneys in your pockets :wink:

If you want things mentioned in the newsletter, email us about it! We want to include community efforts and neat stuff you’re doing around the space! :bangbang:EDIT: Please give context as to what you are sending us, whether its for a facebook post or the newsletter or what. If I have to spend more than 2 minutes trying to figure out what its for, then its not likely to get posted as I don’t know where its supposed to go. If I have to respond back to everyone asking what they are needing then it makes me quickly hate helping in this job lol. Please be clear from the get go what you need!!! :bangbang:

If I’m a bit slow to get to it, I implore you, I am but one person and I forget when I have seen messages occasionally. But I will do my best to get your posts posted as soon as I am able to.

We especially love Tricia!! She helps out with all the tech stuff. So please make life easy on us in Comms, and Submit “flyers” for classes folks!!
