Cnc plasma class on the 24th. Looking at doing another class as well....what do you want?

Just a heads up, went ahead and posted a cnc plasma class for the 24th. These will be available on a more regular basis (about once a month) going forward.

Looking at adding at least one more class per month
I can teach
Mig welding
Tig Welding
Stick Welding
Powder Coating
General metal fab (weld a step stool for example)
Blue mill as in intro to tormach
the 8x4 shopbot router with fusion 360
Fusion 360 cad and cam… maybe for a 3d printed part.

curious to hear peoples thoughts,

I would like the power coating class. can’t do the CNC plasma class on the 24 but would like to take it. fusion 360 if that is all that will work with the cnc plasma cutter. thanks jimmy.

I’ll see about getting an authorization class on the calendar before the 24th. Is a weekend or week day preferred?

Hi Jimmy! So glad you’ll be teaching more classes.

I’ve already signed up for the CNC plasma class, but I’d be interested in learning stick welding (could also use a refresher in TIG) and love the idea of a general metal fab class based on a project like a step stool. And more experience in Fusion 360 is always great.

Thank you for setting up the safety and cnc plasma classes. I am a new member and plan to take both. I already registered for the metal shop safety class today but the system won’t allow me to register for the CNC plasma class, most likely because it requires the safety authorization first, but I do plan to sign up as soon as the safety auth is in the system.

I’d sign up for pretty much any Metalshop class on the weekend. I work weekday nights so it’s hard to get to weekday classes.
