Cardboard nibbler/cutter

now I know I’ve been a makeict member too long - I can’t even remember what all we’ve done.

I saw a kickstarter ad for a table-mounted cardboard cutter for kids:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inventable/inventable-a-kid-safe-power-tool-for-cutting-cardboard

My first thought was that’s cool, my second thought is wait I’ve seen that. it’s too familiar. I’ve played with that at MakeICT. We HAD one. Or made one? Or someone had one?

Here’s an instructables:

It’s basically using this nibbler bit, with the drill mounted underneath a table: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0742G5562/

Does anyone have one of these laying around that we could get back out again? If not, I guess I’m open to recommendations for your favorite nibbler tool because the dicfeos one is already in my cart.

If it is helpful for your timeline, I have not seen this at the space. (Although we have some stuff still not identified in the outreach closet.)

I saw the same thing and immediately thought it would be cool!

Long ago I had a project where I used the air nibbler to cut sheet aluminum and thought it would be neat to mount it in a table. Good to see somebody else has the same idea

Bill Tumbleson made one and brought it to a maker Monday.

THATS IT! @jcarpenter81 think Bill would want to bring it back? How do I get hold of him?

Or does anyone else have a nibbler I can borrow?

Googled “carboard nibbler” but this was all I could find…
