Finished this and would like to put it in the front display case, i noticed it was not locked, but wanted to let folks know about it, rather than just have a mystery object suddenly show up.

yup, red cedar, red oak pallet wood, hedge, walnut mostly. .

Did you turn this or did you build up segmented rings or a mix of both? Iām getting ready to try out scroll saw bowls soon and was curious.

segmented rings, one at a time, usually turn them to round then another ring after. Most of the time is spent cutting segments and gluing. Ive started the bottom of another one yesterday, for a friend who wants a fruit bowl and has offered a trade for it.
