It was brought to my attention some of you may not know about Blender software.
As stated it can do most of what is needed for 3d and 2d art, including: camera tracking, animation, simulation, non-linear video editing, CAD,CAM,CAE (limited ability), hard surface modeling, compositing, and most other tasks related to 2d and 3d.
Here is a link to the Blender home page
There is also a massive amount of training and howto information online.

This is also the program that has a jewery specific add-on to let you make 3d models that you can print, invest, burn out, and cast.
I still haven’t got past making a circle.

Any chance of a Blender class? The basics are all easily covered with online tutorials but would be nice for a hands-on class to go above the typical stuff (Something more than just program setup, scale, rotating, moving, extrude, etc).

Ohh I didn’t know about that, I’m usually using it for technical things so I’ve got add-ons for like correct threads and things. I’ll look that up.
