I unloaded the kiln but didn’t have my phone with me for any photos. Thanks to Andy for posting for me. There’s some really nice work that came out of this load.
I didn’t notice any issues with the bisque pieces.
There was only one piece on the shelf that we didn’t load into this firing. It was a little seal made from a solid piece. It was so thick we were afraid that it might still have moisture trapped in the thick clay which can cause an explosion in the kiln. I placed it on the kiln to further dry so it could maybe go into the next firing. Today when I unloaded, the little seal is missing from the kiln room. I apologize for any confusion but did not want to risk a kiln disaster. Usually similar work is hollow inside or hollowed out on the bottom to allow the clay to not trap moisture deep inside.
