Basic leather working question

I have a leather belt that I want to make some adjustments to. It is too wide to fit easily in the receiving buckle and I’d like to trim maybe a 1/16 of an inch off both sides of it. I’d also like to punch some extra belt holes in it.

Do we have a good way to trim leather? And do we have a leather punch set somewhere?

We do have a leather punch. We do not have a good way to trim the width that narrow of a trim.I would suggest a box cutter and a piece of thick acrylic wit a straight edge
