I took the bandsaw in the hot shop offline to investigate the noise it’s making and a slippage issue last night. I was not able in that time to positively identify the source, so will refill the gearbox today and remove the lock.
Bandsaw has gear lube in it again and can be used. I suspect there is a bearing going out that will need to replace in the not too distant future but the lead is aware of it
