The big band saw (Grizzly) blade is broken. It came in contact with the white plastic guide plate. The small shop fox band saw is very dull.
I’ll swap 'em out tonight. Thanks for the notification. What was being done on the grizzly blade to cause it to break?
I cut a very small part and walked away to the drill press. Heard a thunk and returned to the band saw to see the plate guard disk popped up and cut. I thought that was the end of it until someone tried to use it and found the blade was broken. I was surprised that hitting the plastic disk could have done that. Must have vibrated loose unnoticed by me.
both band saws have new blades on them now.

did you stop the bandsaw with the stop block before you went to another machine?
