Hi there, I am a new member needing metalshop authorizations. I am wondering… Is this done through individual classes? Any guidance here would be much appreciated.

The metalshop safety class is held several times a month and you can find one and sign up for it on the calendar.
Thank you for your quick response… but I have had the safety class. I am wondering if the lathe and CNC mill authorizations will come in the form of a class also?

With the Cnc Mill / Tormach machine you will need to come to the space on a Tuesday night and speak with Jimmy Tennant.
He is our go to guy for the Tormach and will be the one to work with you to grant you authorization on that machine.
I am waiting on a response back from John who was doing the Lathe classes to see if we can get another up on the schedule.
