Our sixth featured ceramicist is well known throughout the Makerspace for her many little creature creations. She’s a skilled ceramic sculptor and offers regular classes where you can learn to make your own cute ceramic creature.

Why Ceramics: It’s completely customize-able and I can let my imagination run wild! Plus, it’s completely okay to make a huge mess!!
Biggest Ceramics Challenge: Glazing! The glazes are not as accurate as I want to be, so I use a bake-on enamel paint for detailed things.
What’s Next: Immediately? Hoggle from Labyrinth and the Dobby from Harry Potter. Long term, plates and bowls on the wheel!
Hobbies: Making!!, succulents/gardening, snow skiing, figure skating, animals, hiking, camping, water sports, traveling, and board games.
