Has anyone done any experimenting with AI assistants or expert systems? Looking for some guidance on how to and best options.
I’ve been thinking about trying out Mycroft. I think @james.a.seymour has mentioned it a couple times. It seems a little more appealing than shoveling more fuel into the Amazon/Google/Apple advertising engine.

My home is full of the Google ones that I let control some lights and locking.
We are a google household, but I’ve considered a switch to Mycroft. I’ve not done extensive research on the various assistants, but I’m considering capturing packets to try to see what commands the bulbs and such take.
More to sate my own innate curiosity than any big project.
