Both are still works in progress. The clock uses an Arduino Nano with a DS3231 real-time clock module to drive 27 addressable RGB LEDs. The number of lights in each section gives the digits for the tens of hours, hours, tens of minutes, and minutes. The case is made from walnut.
The busybox is much simpler. Just some color-changing LEDs connected through resistors and switches to a battery. Flip the switch, light the light. My grandson is only 9 months old, so it is pretty simple, but I’ve left room to add a bunch of stuff as he grows. Over time I plan to add vibration and sound, at least.
