We’ll be demonstrating how to print with the flexible filament, TPU. You can also try your hand at installing heat set inserts in 3D printed parts.
For new members who already have 3D printing experience, this is a good opportunity to get peer-authorized to use the MakeICT printers.
Bring any questions you have, show off your creations, and grab some gummy bears!
Oh hey, I’ll come and bring my own heat set equipment I haven’t experimented with. I was meaning to come down this evening anyways just to have the space to be able to disassemble my laptop to find what screen I need to order.
Well, I got down here and found I forgot my badge at work, I might just go home or I might come back closer to 6:30 get someone to let me in

Next month we’re planning to experiment with embedding objects during the printing process, like magnets, keychains, and even fabric.
I have done embedding nuts into prints while printing, very successfully to add sturdy metal threads to a part, works VERY well.
