The fastcap “Million Dollar Stick” allows small workpieces to be held securely with the operator’s hands well clear of the blade.
Please keep with the bosch miter saw

New battery in the metal-detector.

It is working much better, but is still an economy model. The metal detector should be used to enhance our inspection of used wood. Thorough visual inspection and continuous observation should always be used in our efforts to prevent metal and other foreign objects in wood from harming our blades and ourselves.

New pocket hole jig.

The kreg went “missing” and I’d still love to find it, but now we have one in opperation again.

I have mounted it in a semi-permanent fasion and ask that it be left where it is, even though this might not be the most convenient for all operations.

The basic workings are identical to the kreg jig.
A depth dongle and two hex-wrenches are postioned to the left of the jig in holes to keep them in place.

It works REAL-NICE when hooked up to dust collection too.

Where the picture shows it
It’s on the shelves behind the sawstop, at least for now.
