Insomnia resulted in my trying to make geode plant pots. I used silicone molds (with drain holes built in!) and quick cement to make the planters. 
Technically my friend Travis helped me with that part, because I couldn’t get the consistency right. Then I chiseled off one side and filled in the gap with epoxy and gemstone chips. 
I overpoured and will need to sand off the extra epoxy. Then I’ll accent the chiseled edges with gold paint.
