This was left in Textiles because it looks like quilt batting. It appears to be ceramic batting from look and feel. It left a power on my fingers when I touched it and it’s quite heavy for it’s size. Anyone know where it came from and what it truly is.
The bag is from a rock and masonry place if it is in the original bag…
I’ve gotten several of these bags from the Yard. I think I might have seen this batting there too. That’s another reason I’m guessing it’s creramic batting
It is Kaowool. It is a refractory ceramic material for lining a gas forge.
