Each week this group has been issuing a challenge to teach hand-stitching skills as an art form. Below are my first 2 weeks pieces.
Week one was to make a 6x6 box and create different patterns in each 3x3 square using different directions of stitch. I plan on stitching more in other colors. I chose short and long stitch.
Week 2 was to use items around you home and scraps to create a 4x6 collage.
I am 2 weeks behind but that’s okay. I will post those weeks when I’m done.
