I tackled my first hand plane renovation this weekend. I was pretty happy overall. It’s missing the rear handle front toe screw. Who knew that replacement part would be hard to find. I finally found one online and it’ll be here next week. I also want to spend a little more time flattening the bottom. It’s a little concave, but only a little. It’s shinier than the pictures leave you to believe. I’m having a little trouble setting it up, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out.
